Welcome to the Forest Hills CSA 2011 season!
Today – May 31st – marks the fist pickup of the year. Every Tuesday from now until November 22nd, you can look forward to visiting the Church in the Gardens at 50 Ascan Avenue between 4pm – 8pm to pick up your share of delectable fresh and organic vegetables (and fruit, and garlic, and tomatoes, and herbs…).
As an added bonus, this year we have a robust website plan as well! In addition to picking up vegetables on Tuesdays, you can also log into the newly-redesigned Forest Hills CSA website (www.foresthillscsa.com) where you will see new content each week.
Over half a dozen members are pulling together to make sure that our new FHCSA blog is filled with interesting information for our members, including recipes (some from published cookbook authors!), original artwork, news on “green” activities in NYC, and more! Since you’ll be getting the perspective of multiple bloggers, each week will provide an insightful and varied viewpoint from a member of the FHCSA community.
So don’t miss out – remember to visit this website at weekly to stay up-to-date on the latest scoop from the Forest Hills CSA blogging cadre! Don’t let the experience of belonging to the Forest Hills CSA community start and end at the pickup site.
