Frank Kushnir founded Group Growing in 2015 with his wife Jenniffer. Since then, they’ve started 13 farms, all free for families and communities. Frank is a graduate of Northeastern University where he studied civil/environmental engineering and economics. He has built bridges over the Charles River in Boston and the swampy Meadowlands of New Jersey, and currently builds economic bridges for communities by teaching them how to grow gourmet mushrooms. Many gourmet mushrooms are also highly prized for their medicinal properties. Group Growing strives to make mushrooms available to even those who cannot afford their typically high retail prices.
